The Norwegian-inspired Vennebu Hill Wedding Venue & Conference facility is one of the newest of its kind to join the event venue scene in the Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton area. Not coincidentally, in Norwegian, Vennebu means “gathering place of friends and family.” Vennebu Hill is truly meant to be a joyful place to gather with friends and family.

This elegant event venue is designed to highlight weddings, facilitate meetings & retreats, and offer a creative & unique setting for all types of events. The aesthetic at Vennebu Hill combines a rustic look with the benefits of a modern facility, providing guests with the best of both worlds - old and new. The views at Vennebu Hill are glorious enough to feel one has escaped the hustle and bustle of life for a while. There is a sense of family and hard work, as well, because of its history and its location. The venue is also particularly special because of its farm and family legacy. The Myklebust family for three generations has lived on this beautiful parcel of land. Time has come to restore the beautiful Gothic barn and turn the once cattle barn into a wedding and event venue.

Amenities Included in Venue Rental

Vennebu Hill offers a number of amenities with your rental

  • Year-round facility with air conditioning and heat. Have your wedding with us at any time of the year.
  • Paved and lighted parking lot, providing safety and security for you and your guests.
  • Preparation suites for bride and groom.
  • Lounge with seating for family and friends getting ready for the wedding.
  • Coat closet for essentials that require not being out in the open.
  • Bathroom facilities: 10 total stalls with handicap accessibility on both upper and lower levels.
  • Elevator access for guests needing additional assistance.
  • Audio-visual capabilities. In-house speakers in the barn and outside on the patio with use of wireless microphones.
  • Video screens with multiple source locations; HDMI, XLR or 1/8th inch jack ports for laptops or mixers
  • Place settings - flatware, single dinner plate or salad/appetizer plate for stations, glassware , wine and/or champagne glasses**,
  • Fully staffed main bar lower level and (2) mobile bars for use in the barn.
  • (250-300) gold resin folding 'ceremony' chairs for outside and inside ceremony available for an additional $350 fee.
  • (250) Fruitwood cross-back style 'reception' chairs for lower level
  • (100) Fruitwood folding 'reception' chairs for lower level
  • (10) 32″ wide, 8' long rectangular harvest style wood farm tables with seating up to 8. Linens not required for farm tables.
  • (25) 72″ round tables comfortably seating 10. Linens provided in white or black.

What sets Vennebu Hill's facility apart from other venues of its kind? It showcases Wisconsin's beautiful and natural landscape to both locals and travelers. While the design and flow were inspired for wedding celebrations, the venue is fully-equipped to host meetings and conferences. With excellent audio-visual capabilities from in-house sound, spot lighting, large screens for presentations, and multiple small-room meeting spaces, Vennebu Hill is a grand place to host a holiday party or a company retreat, as well as, midsize conferences, meetings, in-house markets, and tradeshows.

Convenient, Yet Secluded Location

The beautifully rustic and elegant venue resides on a sprawling 60 acre farm with views of over 170 acres. Set high upon a hill with a view far beyond that, the venue overlooks the Baraboo Bluffs and Wisconsin River. The facility has a Baraboo address, but is located closer to Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells.

Vennebu Hill is an excellent option for couples, families, groups, and/or organizations from the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison markets (to name a few) looking for a destination wedding option or an alternative meeting and retreat facility that inspires creativity!
