Myklebust Farmhouse

The house has a bright and welcoming atmosphere that the owners, Paal and Ragh Myklebust created for their family. Ragh, a long term local with great Wisconsin River knowledge, was also a part antique dealer and Paal came from Norway after WWII to Wisconsin and brought with him his strong Norwegian culture. The house has an old Scandinavian/Euromerican décor with all the modern conveniences we have all come to expect. We have taken great care to preserve the family feel to the home while providing conveniences to guests who want to stay close to the Vennebu Hill Barn and our newly built Sognefjord Winery.

Accommodations include 5 upstairs bedrooms (one master suite with a King bed and private bath, three Queen bedrooms and one Full size bedroom). Sleeps 10 guests comfortably. There are 3 bathrooms upstairs and a half bath on the first floor. On the first floor there is a front viewing parlor, fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a game room and a three season porch. Our Friday Weddings can book Thursday and Friday night at $795 per night (plus taxes) while our Saturday and Sunday Weddings can book a 1 night stay at $995 per night (plus taxes) or 2 nights at $795 per nights (plus taxes) based on availability. Upon confirmation we would send our rooms contract, no smoking and no pet policies for your signature. A check for the full amount can be mailed or a secure link for payment via credit card (including room rate, taxes and 3.5% credit card fee) is also available.
