What to do?
Wisconsin Dells’ newest wedding and events venue, Vennebu Hill, is within five miles of all Wisconsin Dells attractions. Looking for information on the Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo area? Look no further! While Vennebu Hill event venue is tucked away on a hillside, its new wedding barn and reception facility are surprisingly close to the excitement and hubbub of Wisconsin Dells.
The natural beauty of the notorious rock formations (Dells) and the Wisconsin River are also close in proximity. Visit Newport Park, within a mile of the venue for a great place to enjoy the lower Dells of the Wisconsin River without a cost. Right next door, grab a quick bite to each and/or a frosty beverage at the rustic and family friendly River’s Edge Pub & Grub. Within five miles you can access Duck rides on the lower Dells, feed deer at the long-time favorite Deer Park, and walk the shops, attractions and cafes on Broadway in downtown Wisconsin Dells.
Another sweet, quaint town, close to the Vennebu Hill event venue is Baraboo, WI. It is home to the spectacular Devil’s Lake State Park, a great little zoo called Ochsner Park & Zoo, tons of cool shops and antique stores, and some fine, family-friendly restaurants. Baraboo is only 10 minutes south on County Road A – a straight shot. There is a great river walk the starts behind Ochsner and heads into the downtown area. It’s an excellent little Wisconsin town.
